Bill...you were a soul set on fire by the power, love and joy of our Jesus Christ. Your compassion and humour will be missed...but your inspiration will continue through those who knew and loved you. We are privileged to have known you .....

It must be close to 40 years since Ron preached that Sunday night when Bill thought that you had told Ron all about his life because the message was for him. God is so faithful. There have been happy times and sad times and now Bill and Ron are rejoicing together around the Throne. My prayers are with you now and in the days to come.

Bill May you RIP with the Lord. He was the reason we met that day at my work. I was blessed to have met you and be able to talk with you that day.

Francine and family. It was a blessing to count Bill as one of my friends. The many hours he gave volunteering at Christmas time for the Christmas kettle Champaign. The tears he shed when taking hampers to needy families. His joy at doing service for others was evident in the time he freely gave and the happiness he derived from it . He will be missed by so many for when Bill touched your life , you couldn't help but love him . Francine, your loss is heavens gain.

20 yrs ago my friend Bill said let us meet for coffee, and we did, every week for years. I treasure his faithfulness to this day and reflect on his work for the Lord as a Chaplain to the hard-working truck drivers, Minister to the marginalized, devout praying man, gathering Pastors and others for 6 a.m. meetings in Barrie churches (which continued for years in new locations), and mentor to many alongside his bride Francine. We are grateful for Bill and will miss him very much. Rev. Ron Berresford and Mrs. Berresford

Dear Francine. My heart breaks for you at the loss of your beloved husband Bill. Words cannot describe the Man that he was. I know that you take comfort in knowing that he is gone to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bill came into our lives when we needed him the most. I know that even as he is gone he continues to work in the life of Chuck. May God be with you in your hour of grief to comfort and support you. Love you

Francine, it is with gratitude that I remember Bill's faithfulness, with your encouragement, in bringing God's love to many people in the old Barrie Jail. May God bless you and your family richly; I know it is hard to say "good-bye-for-now" to someone who has made such an impact for the Kingdom.
