Peter, Mary and Andrew, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Your mother was the nicest, kindest person I have ever known. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her beautiful smile, her wisdom and her constant optimism . Peggy was the best and although I am very sad as I will not see her again, I know she is happy being with your dad. Peggy I can't say enough good about you and I will miss our little talks and computer lessons. Love Joanne

Peter Mary and Andrew, I too will miss Peg. She was just like Dell, such a happy, lovely fun lady. She was very visible around Collier and will be sadly missed by so many. She was lucky to be Independant right 'til her last week. Not many get that opportunity. She's reunited with all her loved ones gone before her. She'll be watching over all of you. RIP dear Peg. Love Mary Kay Marshallo

Peg was one amazing lady. Her gentle kindness, genuine concern for others, positive attitude and respect for learning were all qualities I admired in her. I was so fortunate to have met Peg and to have had her expertise as an assistant in my primary classroom at Codrington P.S. for more than five years. We soon became friends and enjoyed lunches and visits together over the years. I shall miss her inspirational conversations and all the fun we shared. My sincere condolences to the family. Darlene

To the family, Greg and I have fond memories of Peggy at " the farm". She lit up a room and was a total " people" person like her Mom, Aunt Del. We should all aspire to live our lives as she did... caring for others and with great interest in life around her. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her. Peggy& Greg

I will cherish the memories of my chats with "Mrs. T" surrounding current events, family and faith...along with the Christmas baking she made sure I was never without. Peggy was an inspiration and the time spent with her truly a gift.

We have wonderful memories of Peg. We remember so many gatherings of the extended Barrett family when we would have a chance to share stories and catch up on her active life. She had energy and an interest in life that reminded us of Dell. We are in the middle of moving to Peterborough so can't join you to celebrate her life but will be thinking of you on Fri. My deepest sympathy to Peggy's family. Peggy attended my Tai Chi classes at Tollendale Village. She was always very positive, determined and worked hard in class. She never complained and always had a big smile and a kind word. After a while of attending classes, we realized that I had gone to Central with her son, Andrew. She always spoke very highly of you, Andrew, and was very proud of you. I will miss her in class but she will always have a special place in my heart.
