Joan had a long and brave battle, she will be sorely missed by her family. I have life time memories of Joan, growing up with her daughter Sherri, she was a warm and compassionate woman with a great sense of humour. When I think of her I remember all the reasons she made me smile over the years. With Deepest Sympathy to the family. Love Patti

I had the opportunity and good fortune to work with Joan both at Simpson Sears and later at Sears. Joan was a terrific person along with having a great sense of humour. She was always interested in how you were doing. My deepest condolences to the entire family. Joan RIP

I grew up a few doors down from the Cromptons and it was my second home. Sherri and I were best friends and Joan was my “other mother”. Joan made me feel like a daughter and I remember many sleepovers waking up to the perfect BLT. Joan was a very warm, welcoming, caring, fun -loving individual. All of these qualities were passed down to Sherri. I will miss them both deeply. They are together sharing their laughter.
