BANTING, Florence Alberta - Passed away peacefully at Roberta Place in Barrie on Sunday, May 7th, 2017. Beloved wife of Arnold of 57 years. Loving mother of Ian Banting and his wife Alecia of Oro Medonte. Dear grandmother of Katelin and Ryan Banting. Florence will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street, Barrie on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 11th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Ivy Anglican Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Banting Foundation or to Christchurch Ivy (cheques only). Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.funeralhome.on.ca.

Flo was a wonderful, caring and thoughtful person. I remember her well with all the activities that we shared at the Angus United Church. She will be missed. My prayers go out to Arnold and his family.
